By downloading, installing, or using the CardKeepApp mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CardKeepApp is a mobile application that allows users to digitally store, organise, and manage photos and information about their greeting cards and personal memories. The App is designed for personal, non-commercial use. Read our complete documentation to understand all features and capabilities.

3. Licence to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This licence does not include the right to:

• Distribute, sell, or transfer the App
• Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works
• Use the App for any commercial purposes
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices

4. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you represent that:

• You own or have the right to use all User Content
• Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights
• Your User Content complies with applicable laws

5. Privacy and Data Storage

Your privacy is important to us. All data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Photos, your card photos will sync through Apple's iCloud service according to Apple's terms and our Privacy Policy.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App to:

• Store illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App's systems

7. App Store Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of the Apple App Store. In case of conflict between these Terms and the App Store terms, the App Store terms shall prevail regarding your use of the App through the App Store.

8. Updates and Modifications

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Please review our documentation about app limitations before use.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the App developer is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.
